steve vai s 10 hour workout, guitar theory ,steve vai s 10 hours workout tablature

The first time I heard about Steve's program of 10 hours of workout, I went online to examine the workout and I was surprised from people's comments. Most of the people said that it works, even if you don't spend on it 10 hours and even if you spend much less hours on this program you will see a progress, but a really little part said that it doesn't make any progress if you don't spend 10 hours or close to it.

I think that even if you spend much less time on it, you will still see progress if you keep pushing yourself and listen to what vai recommends.
Maybe the progress will be slower but you will see it, for example , you will improve your speed, jamming skills , electric guitar theory knowledge...

Maybe sometime when I will have time I will try this program and write about it from my own experience.

What is Dive Bomb? And How to do it?

Dive bomb is a guitar technique in which the tremolo bar is used to rapidly lower the pitch of a note, creating a sound considered to be similar to a bomb dropping. One of the most recognized pioneers of this technique is Jimi Hendrix. Other notable musicians who are widely known for using this technique are John PetrucciSlashBrian MayEddie Van HalenKirk HammettUli Jon RothK.K. DowningGlenn TiptonJoe SatrianiHerman LiDimebag DarrellSynyster GatesPat O'BrienAlexi LaihoMick MarsKerry King, and Tyler Rebmann. Some guitarists, such as K.K. Downing and Dimebag Darrell have been known to use a variation of this technique in which a harmonic, most commonly a pinch harmonic, is used instead of a normal fretted or open note creating a sound arguably closer to that of a bomb due to the squealing sound created by the harmonic.

This is a video that explains how to do Dive Bomb.
